Danger, your bike is "56" units newer than mine.  In last months Great Lakes trail rider newsletter there were two adds from the same guy, he had a new never ridden 04 kx500 for sale and a new 01 cr500 that had never been started, for sale. He wanted $5500. each. I was guessing he was going to keep them for years as new but needed some cash and his plans were spoiled.

I talked to my friend at House of Kawasaki in Oklahoma City, he works parts. Told me I should talk to sales rep. I ordered rad. braces, when I pick them up I will see if he can help us with the first and the last.
