1986 kx 80 clutch basket wont come off

Hi everyone. I have a 1986 kx 80 engine ive been trying to refresh after it was abused by the previous owner and i need to replace the shifter shaft. So i need to get the clutch basket off, but i cant seem to get it loose. Ive tried an air impact, impact screwdriver, breaker bar, and the only thing im getting is what seems like the clutch slipping. I have a rag in the gears beside the basket so it cant spin. When i put the breaker bar on it and get it to move its just the inside of the clutch basket moving and not loosening. Can anyone help me???
