Dirt Rider - How to rebuild a two stroke top end
(1/1)

I wouldn't recommend using a Hot Rods crank, and I like Wossner pistons and rods, but this is a nice step by step guide for rebuilding your top end.

So, Hot Rods had a bad run when they outsourced to China. That was very short lived because the quality control went down the toilet. I have talked with them and the rods are made in the USA now and the crank webs are made in Taiwan, not to be confused with China, it is not the same, not even close. I would buy one direct but not from another online source since some of the garbage might still be out there. Wiseco has stepped it up too as a result of all that too.

That's really good to know. It's a good concept to have the complete crank ready to buy, and having one you can trust is even better. Thank you for the update!
