You most likely will want to do the 24V conversion. I've had the exact same battery on my CR500AF conversion for almost 2 years. I've got the 63cc dome insert coolhead on it also, so it doesn't start very easily when it's cold. Most of the time I have to kick it on first startup. Starts easy afterwards when it's warm. Probably the combination of the large cylinder volume and higher compression with the coolhead. I'm also not running a compression release. I'm about to convert mine to a 24V system using the SC-1 batteries - probably a better way to go. You may earn some brownie points with MXA when they barely tap that start button too :-D
