Don't think they used Honda parts for any other reason then what would work at the time for the 2008 Kawasaki frame conversion. Sounds as if the Kawasaki cable and tube work just fine?

Yep, its no problem for my build. I just meant that I'm not too surprised that they used Honda parts, seems like they favor them in their builds (that's not a bad thing!). I'm running the stock kx500 throttle with a generic motion pro throttle tube. I did have to use the Lectron specific cable though obviously. Seems like there's a lot of throttle there, shouldn't be a problem at all.

fantastic work, I love seeing stuff like this. thanks for sharing! Thats a pretty trick generator you have too. I had the same one on a yz250 it was awesome. If you decide to sell it, let me know. would be perfect on my street legal 500
