Wossner Piston Question

<< < (2/2)

Oblivious Maximus:
Thanks for the quick replies. I'm awaiting a call back from John at Wossner.

Power seal undercuts the exhaust bridge on these replates but from the damage I've seen on stock cylinders and pistons i'll drill holes unless the Wossner people have a very very good reason not too. I was surprised  the piston was not drilled when I received it. Anyone else use their stock (b) 125 piston that was drilled?

Not to worry Umberto. I found good info in your post. And thanks to all

Oblivious Maximus:

The bikes running fine, 2 hours in. I've been busy and if Wossner did call back I missed them. I reinstalled the old oem piston less rings and marked their high and low point of travel. It seems there is always one oil hole on the bridge at all times and the travel distance just slightly overlaps. Installed the new piston, marked the bridge and drilled 2 holes just slightly larger than the oem.

For some reason I couldn't apply the "Snowflake Factor", maybe due to lack of surface area on this small piston.

Thanks again.
