Sean Colliers New KX500

dirk_411:
Did a Google search and saw lots of examples of ported calipers.  I like the idea of porting.  you see any reason why a guy couldn't port all 3 calipers on his sport atv?

sandblaster:
The big issue I see is aluminum gets softer at fairly low temperatures which is why I believe most calipers are so thick.
Porting can help keep the brakes cooler but it also weakens them.
So how much is enough, or too much?
We will find the sweet spot on ours eventually

sandblaster:
WPC Treatment really came through for us on this build.
This engine should shift smoother and have less gear drag resulting in longer life parts and less HP being wasted in the gear box.

These are parts for the forks, Alex has the parts for the shock.
These valves and the springs were set for Sean's riding style... Incredible...

Well.... We are waiting. I saw Seans 500 but had a lot of races going on Saturday so I never got a chance to get over there and by the time I did late Saturday it seemed like everyone was gone already. I saw him start our 2 stroke race but I did not see him finish, how did it go?
