I was gonna say....I don't remember the stock 90's having such a deep bronze look

Its probably the light in the photo but that is the stock color,

Foxx4Beaver:
could be the light...
they probably "browned" a little with age too ...I had a new '90 in 1990 and don't remember them being that dark looking....

here's the '90 in it's new "state"...much "lighter" looking...

sandblaster:
If you measure the chrome diameter they should be 41mm.
1990 was the only year with the 41mm forks.
The reason I say to check them is because if they are 41mm then the blue forks won't fit the triple clamps correctly.
I'm not saying you can't gag them open enough to make them fit but they won't be correct.

SOHC:
Oh s**t thats something I will check now, I guess I will need to find another set of yokes.

SOHC:
I just had a look, your right the 1992 forks are a 1mm or so thicker, I had a quick look at my parts and I have a set of yokes for a 1992 KDX250, the bottom yoke only has 1 clamp bolt on each side so is no good but the top yoke will work as it looks the same as the KX, and the whole fork leg tappers so I will just put it in the lathe and turn it down to make the bottom yoke fit. or just find a set of 1992 kx yokes
