I just rang the wreckers and bought a pair of 92 yokes,

I know about the axle problem, I was going to make a custom one but it is looking more like swapping the bottom alloy parts of the forks over now

Would someone be able to give me the front axle diameter where it clamps into the forks for a 1992?
