Hello
New here from Newzealand, bought a 1990 KX250 a few months ago, the engine is in peaces and its in bad shape, I have got the project under way with new parts and repairs、

welcome SOHC!
good lookin '90...what forks are on it?...don't look like the stockers.
LukeG:
Choice bro! Nice to see another 90 being brought back to life. Mine has gold forks as well maybe different forks for different markets?
SOHC:
Hello
They are stock forks but they are very rotten, big chunks flaked off about 4mm deep, they are too corroded to use.
I have a replacement pair of blue 1992 forks witch I have polished silver and I need to make a custom axle as the 1992 forks have a bigger hole where the axle clamps, and the 1992 axle doesn't work with the 1990 hub bearings.
other option is to remove the aluminum parts off the steel stanchions and swap them over, I understand they are very hard to remove.

I was gonna say....I don't remember the stock 90's having such a deep bronze look
