He who dies with the most toys wins.
5dracing:
I've done the offroad racing with an aircooled VW in a tube frame buggy chasis. Did a little circle track stuff with it also. Between my brother-in-law and me we have over 50 aircooled VW's in various states of repair/disrepair. I have a street bike that is the definition of a "slider bike", "81 GL500 Honda Silverwing. Also have street Baja bug. If I can find some pictures I'll add them later.
Timbowe:
At the mo: 04 kx5, 92 kx5, 92 Ducati superlight race spec, 99 Holden ute v8 half worked, Fraser 7 under construction, Giant AC 2 mtbike. 2 Kenworth trucks that help to keep the shed full.
Arigato:
What's a Holden ute, and a Fraser 7?
Brett:
Timbowe you have to put a pick in of the holden commodore to show the others what they are missing out on. They are nothing like the oversized US stuff, they run the US 5.7 liter motor same as the corvettes.
As for my toys: Nissan Patrol - 35 inch muddies/locka/goes anywhere, VL Turbo commodore - custom spaghetti exhaust manifold, 91 kx500, two gokarts - 5 motors one bored and stroked from 100cc to 124cc for open class racing. And in the shed: custom three wheeler that old man made and is licensed for road, 2 x CNC Lathes, 1 x conventional lathe, milling machine, furnace, kiln, and probably over 500 pistons in various states of manufacture.
Timbowe:
Well your all sorted then! 1 or 2 pics of a the ute in gallery. 1150 kgs 230 kw. metric. Last of the 5 litre motors. Nearly sorted. Needs programmable chip. Fraser 7 is a locally produced Lotus 7 type race car for the road. Toyota 3 sge 2 litre with fuel injection removed and running 45 mm DCOE Webber carbs. Trick cams [lobes ground off then replaced in different position]. Ported, with a skim shaved off the bottom of the head. 10.5-1 comp. 235 hp 550 kg. Est 0-100 km under 5 seconds. Kx5s taking up most of my time at the mo tho. Fraser 7 back burnered at this time.
