Quick question on frame breakage

(1/3) > >>

SS109:
Of those that have broken their home grown AF conversion, do you ride MX only, trails only, or both and, if both, which were you riding when it broke? Thanks.

SS109:
Bueller?

kxpegger:
Mine was built by Service Honda back in 2009. I have probably close to 400 hours on the bike and hammer the snot out of it in the Nevada desert! Hasn't fallen apart yet!

SS109:
Thanks for the input but the Service Honda frames are supposedly made different from the home grown conversions hence not really relevant.

I'm really trying to find out if the failures are an MX problem or are there also guys breaking them riding/racing off road. I have an '06 KX250f rolling chassis I'm trying to decide if it's even worth trying the conversion or just selling it off. Come on, guys, 203 views and not one person who has broken their AF conversion has replied. smh

kxpegger:
Don't know why you are focused on what doesn't work rather than what does and that is somehow not relevant to what you were originally asking? I would have been more than happy to post pictures of what works as far as frame modifications that SH has made. Good luck in what ever you are trying to accomplish by failure posts versus what works. I don't get it?
