Read somewhere that the 250/300 are supposed to get the big updates in 2017, again another year of rumors of direct injection...   Seems odd they would update the 125 before the 250 however? I'm guessing the schoolboy class is larger then the 250 2 smoke class? Can't blame them, at 6'5 I absolutely LOVE riding a onetwofive

That baffles me as well.  I think you must be right about big updates to the bigger two strokes, and I do hope they end up making a DI two stroke.  I think everyone wants to go back to two strokes, they just can't figure out how to make it not look like they made a mistake in going to four strokes in the first place.  With DI they can say that new technology suddenly made the two stroke so much better than the four stroke, making the switch necessary to keep the best technology in the rider's hands.

Amazing how ktm can bring 8 new bikes out in a year , kawi only got there brand new 450 , the 250f gets the big changes for 17 model and they have a new klx 450 fuel injected on its way , the local dealer keeps telling me about the 300 -350 2 stroke di bike and says he will keep me up to date as news comes in , so we will see , fingers crossed?
