No GoPro So let me start with excuses, a good friend of mine son was killed in a car accident last Friday, my wife had surgery Wednesday, I didn't get my paycheck so I was broke! So I got a late start this morning and was still signing up when the unclassified class took off (basically a sight laptop to learn layout). I had about 30 minutes to get gased, geared, and stretched  out.  Lined up for start on second row go to move forward after first row takes off and bike dies and won't start. Second and third rows take off and I'm still there's kicking. Biggest rookie mistake forgot to turn my gas back on after warming her up. Took off like a bat outa hell, passed 6 bikes in first half a lap, almost ran someone over who had went down and got lodged in some rocks for about five minutes before getting going again. Everyone except one guy who I was able to keep behind me was gone.Reeled a couple back in then whacked a rock and flattened my front tire on beginning of third lap. Fought it for almost a lap til my arms pumped up solid and it was no longer safe for me to be out there!! BIG Fat DNF!!!

complete with cigarette and custom masking tape & sharpie #'s

sorry to hear about your friend, and wife...
but I'm willing to bet you had fun!, despite forgettin to turn the fuel on and getting a flat. :-)
that pic certainly doesn't show anger in your facial expression...maybe more like, "I'm ready for a beer".

lol that pic was actually before the race! :x I just look that beat all the time. Yeah it was super fun despite all the drama, it was super dusty though still coughing up dirt. Only one other K5 out there and I don't even think he was racing. I will be out there again next year FOR SURE!!!
