Roadracer gone 2-stroke!

(1/2) > >>

Schutzy:
Howdy! I'm Nick from STL, MO! I'm an amateur roadracer and have the sudden urge to get dirty! Kinda weird going asphalt to dirt, but hopefully my skills will transfer over  :-D

In 2013 I picked up a blown up 98 cr125 144cc big bore project bike and finally had it finished this Fall! This is a blast to ride as long the stator doesnt fry!

A few months ago I picked up a supermoto project for a great price. 1999 KX500 with low hours. (This thing wont see too much dirt until I learn the ropes...  :-P)

Here's how she sits now!

Can't wait to meet you all and learn more about riding and working on bikes!

Foxx4Beaver:
Welcome to the site Schutzy!
nice looking scooters...the K5 looks well cared for!
what do you ride for road racing?

Schutzy:
Thanks a bunch! A little work every day goes a long way

I race a 2008 ZX6R

(and yes that is electrical tape for numbers  :-o)

Foxx4Beaver:
nice action shot!...
nothing wrong with electrical tape for numbers...that stuff's almost as good as duct tape

Foxx4Beaver:
now you gotta throw some racing slicks on the K5!!
