I just noticed in this pic, that your carb/air boot connection is missing the clamp on the airbox side. That would explain all the black crap and moist dirt on the back end of the carb....and "could" also be the culprit as to why it's starting hard and idling at nearly full throttle.
Either way the carb's gotta come off and be cleaned...but be sure you get the clamp that goes on there, even if you just use a heavy gauge hose clamp.

Yea, I mentioned that in the earlier post, also thought that could be the problem to the carb being completely out with idling etc. Do you think one of these will work?

there is a specific clamp from Kawie that goes there, and that should be used...but yes, you could get away with that clamp you posted a pic of if need be.

Okey cool, thanks Fox, I will use that for now and see if I can get the OEM clamp from the dealer.
