Right on, I think the guy who was building my big bore T4 motors was more along the lines of what your saying. Ideal, will work and so on....  it was many years a go we had the conversation,   I just remembered the negative context, good to hear your guys experience

if you do go that route...you should probably lap the cases together. My buddy never did, he just rolled the dice and came out ok without any problems.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading that our member Pmcg lapped his cases too on his current build, maybe he'll chime in as well.
