So on the weekend my boy Jordan and I went riding it was his first time with a bike with clutch,  We will work on gears next coz the thing wont rev any harder in first.  He did a awesome job crashed a few times but got straight back on

Starting to really feel comfortable on bike now

To cool man!! I got mine started a little later (10) but now 5yrs later on the track my fat ass can only keep up for about 5 laps. Now out on the trails its a different story he has no chance.  enjoy it man cause before you know it the roost will be in your face, but then again that's what its all about.

Oblivious Maximus:
What a great experience for both of you and a big step for any kid who wants to ride.

I'm always looking forward to riding with my grown kids when they find (never enough) time  to come back home for a weekend.

I start my grandkids on an old 1980 CR80 which makes them happy (and relieved) to move up to the KX125.

The CR80's a slightly detuned and long retired race bike which teaches gear selection and throttle control all in a small package.

Keep up the lessons. Many rewards to come.
