This was both the total loss and DOT lines. Could not find anything reading through the specs about the lines or charging. There are so few folks doing the inspections that you are at their mercy for what they want. Arguing will get you nowhere.

I used to modify EVERYTHING. Along with picking up every odd ball, one off vehicle I could find. Then I would get bored. Then I would sell. Trying to quit that. I had to slap myself last year when I bought my brand new 2012 VStrom 1000 and two months later, TWO MONTHS! I am thinking I should sell it and get something else. STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!!
Wife is pretty used to it now after 20+ years.

Got to the inspection place (Skagit Powersports) early and had three of the folks come over to look before they opened. One looked at the cylinder and said "i wanted to see if that was what I thought it was". All good. Have my paperwork. Let one of the racers ride it. Big grins. Trying to talk me into heading to Oregon Raceway in Sept. Fun stuff! 8-)

I was offered a free track day up at Portland.
I should have done it but I know in the back of my head how competitive I can be.
And I would think, "If he can brake that late and go into that corner that fast I should be able to also."
Next thing you know my bike would be cartwheeling down the outfield with or without me.
Still I have that nervous itch that I want to scratch
