"It has been done, my master" (KDX 200 Bought)
(1/1)

ha....haha....HAHA.....MWHAHAHAHAHAHA. It has been done. In my previous thread I asked if i should buy the KDX...well today I did. It's a 1998 KDX 200. Full FMF exhaust. Gold series gnarly pipe and turbine 2 exhaust. Pro taper bars (which i don't like) MRS clutch lever, after market head light, new front/rear fenders and taillight yet to be wired. Frame is scuffed up but good for a 98'. It has all the low end torque I could want. a beast without being overpowering. Much more than I expected. I'm gonna get used to riding the bike and get some gnarly riding in! By the way, the guy said to mix it 40:1 yet I saw that atleast on the 00' model it said 32:1. Which one? I run 32:1 in the 91 kx 250. Tell me what you think of the bike!

this bike would also looking good in my garage... its in very nice condition ...
i ride only 40 : 1 with "motul 800" in all engines since i ride watercooled mx-bikes
... the 32 : 1 is to rich and the unburned oil makes a wet exhaust and shortens the life of muffler package which is soaking the oil. and the whole bike is always greasy and dirty of it :-( ... the 32 : 1 is good for some older aircooled engines that still have the original lower quality bearings in the crank.

Ok thanks. This bike in the future will also be a project hopefully for a dual sport bike. It will never get off the one lane back roads if that ever happens  Hey all it needs is turn signals and tires. I think I'm gonna lower the suspension and I'm definitely going to set the suspension up for my weight and all that jazz.
Goat:
Bike looks excellent. Good find. They are fun bikes with just enough power. Enjoy
