2000 KX500 VS. 2009 KX450F Sand drag....
The 2009 KX450F was fully rebuilt last year and is in excellent running condition.
The rider weighs 140lb.
The 2000 KX500 had a new piston and ring set installed 3 years ago.
It has no other engine mods and the rider weighs 225 lb.

Nope.... The old dog still has some beans but it's starting to feel a bit sluggish so it's time for a upgrade  :D

a real racebike has only 2 valves one in the frontwheel and the other in the rear wheel...  8-) :lol:

85 lb weight difference is alot. That's like giving up 10-12 hp.

for a real vs-match you need 2 similar riders, same weight and riding experience. using the same tires is also a good idea  .
 after first run change the bikes between the riders and do the second run. so are only the bikes the real diference between both riders and youŽll see at least, which is the better bike in the tested riding conditions...  :-D
