no he's on red..."High Octane" Harley Davidson is his main sponsor.Daytona's almost a hometown for him...his family owns a pretty big house right on the beach....a bunch of us went down there in 09 for the races and bike week and stayed at the house. So right after St Louis, that's where he spent his time riding.
He could've done good if he did'nt tuck the front wheel in that berm :x

Decotis put in a good ride. RC gave him big props on the sweet pass he made on lap five.
Should be a great one at Indy this weekend!!!

Jimmy Decotis is going to Europe to race Kawasaki's for CLS.
Wishing him the best. He is exciting to watch!

funny to see this post...I just got off the phone with his dad about 45minutes ago....just shootin the s**t,and he reminded me what he said to me back in 2004...which was..."he's gonna take it all the way to the top...you wait and see".
Back then he was barely 5' tall and just 11yo....and ranked 1st in the NESC 85cc class.

blowing the dust off this thread...
well after being unhappy with the European deal he had, and missing the USA, family, and friends...he came back after a few short months last summer just in time to race the very "last Southwick National".
since then he hasn't done any big events...instead took a little time for himself.
he's now doing the 450 class aboard a Riverside Harley Davidson CRF.
he's still got Ryan Hughes as his trainer...one of the best in the business.
he qualified 7th in practice at Oakland...got 5th in Semi 1.
and placed 20th in the main event....considering it was his 1st race since Southwick last year, and with the amount of incredible talent in the 450 class this year...it's respectable.
hopefully by the latter end of the supercross series, he'll be riding to his very exciting potential as he had last year....and roll on into the outdoor season in the top 10.
I tried calling his dad a couple times since Oakland, but haven't had any luck.
