Kx250 throttle cable for 500 ad

I put a 2002 throttle assy on my 2008 kx500 ad. The 500 cable is too short inside to let the carb slide hit bottom and the 250 inside is too long. Just checking to see what everyone else is using. Bike is almost finished. Thanks, marty

My SH uses a CR250 cable/tube.

The Flyin Hawaiian:
My SF conversion uses a 96 KX125 carb top and cable with th 02 500 throttle.
