IMS tank with spark plug?
nikabele:
Im going to buy a IMS tank for my kx500af and I was wondering if there was anyway of making it work besides reforming the tank to fit the plug? Ive heard about shorty plugs, but is there a plug out there thats short enough and will work with the IMS tank?
Dutch-K5 Fan:
Middle of next week I'm back home.
I used a plug of a ktm, it's shorter. But but still I remolded my stock tank.
Have a IMS that i'm planning to use, but has to mod to.
Mine is a kxf250 from 07.

What frame and year is your AF? I have a 3.2 gallon Clarke on my 2008 KX450F framed 500AF. It fits great with no modifications other than the shorty spark plug. It also has more spark plug clearance than the stock tank.

Its a 06 kx450f frame. Im sponsored by IMS so i wanna get the tank cheap with my discount but trying to find ways of using it without doing the mod to it, but if there is no other way i guess ill have to do the mod on it.
