1993 kdx 220 cant find parts ????

i have just had a 1993 kdx 220 almost fall into my lap :-D. i was planning on breaking it. but when it showed up i thought i might fix it up and use it. so i had a look for a piston on ebay wiseico ect ect. and i cant find 1. does any 1 no the story with this. can find loads for 98 on and loads for 200 and 250 but none for the early 1s :?. i will post some pics of the bike tomorrow. any help with this would be good. thanks in advance

i have just found, via a registration check that it  is a kdx220SR if that make a difference

I don't think they made the 220 here in the states back in 1993 & might be the reason for the problem, working from the phone now, will check on the big computer when I can.

I just checked, 1997 was the first year here.

I believe the top end is the same design as the 89-94 kdx200. I know the trans is geared way different. Post some pics of the engine. I'll keep searching for parts/info. Might be able to call Fredette Racing or RB Designs for info too.
