Has anybody ever sleeved a worn crankcase? I have a worn clutch bearing slot, the bearing does not lock to the edges of the crankcase it just slips in, it has even wear and does not looked egged to the eye, my guess is it have a shop center it and drill it out slightly then to sleeve it to suit the standard size bearing?
Alternatively what are your thoughts on getting a custom one off bearing made up? Such a pain, I am struggling to find a nice pair of KX 250 1990 or 1991 cases in the UK and have been looking for toooooo long, I bought those cases as a back up plan knowing they had the fault mentioned so can not complain about being ripped off! Any advice or ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance 👍🏼
