It looks amazing!  Of course it would look better covered in mud or sand parked by the side of your favorite trail.  grin

I figured that was the case grin I noticed that the pipe diameter was a few mm smaller than the KX500 but I'm not sure that it affected my power delivery. Maybe even helped low end...

A smaller diameter will change your output for sure.
Shortening it, which mine will be over stock, will also increase bottom end at the expense of some top end.
Since this engine is a prototype in many respects, I wanted to keep the exhaust as close to stock as possible, without sacrificing over all aesthetics..
Once I get the new muffler on it and jet it, I should achieve more power everywhere...
Sean Colliers last engine we built for him definitely achieved that goal.
But I wanted this one to be even better.... So I pushed things  shocked
Might have gone too far but time will tell   grin
