Hi All
I just found this pic of me racing at Southwick 338 in Massachusetts. For the life of me I can`t remember the year
of the bike. I do remember I purchased it new.

I had a husky kinda like that, mine was a 73 250wr. Looking like Steve Mcqueen.
I would say mid 70s.
On the original MX338 track, frog pond and everything those were the days. (little before my time) my first Southwick spectating was 1977 I was 13. It would be the 90s before I ever rode it.

Lets do some detective work.. (from someone that owns over 8 huskys)...
Tank says it should be a CR (not a WR). Husky was kind of wishy washy here... there are examples that break this rule..
Black leg forks so newer than 1971 (and part of 72)
not a round case motor so 1972 or newer.
shouldered acront rims, so older than 1975.
still has stand up shocks... so older than 1975.
Small front Hub tells me its a 250...
Now that I see the small front hub... and know its a 250... it wont be a 1974 1/2... as that year, they went to the 250cr Mag.. (my bike).. and the motor was diferant..
Plastic front fender... 1972 had alum still...
So without a better picture... your between 1973 and half of 1974
But what do I know... Im just some whipersnapper kid..

Hi Motorrad
Thanks for the answer. That`s a long time ago. I would have been 16 at the time- 1974.
No wonder I didn`t remember. I always loved the chrome and red tank. It was a piece
of art in my mind.

Hi
I worked on a dairy farm up the street from me when I was 13 years old till 18. I made s**t
for money but it all of it went into my motocross fund. That`s a nice Xmas gift. The old Huskys
were beautiful bikes.

Just happened to finish restoring it a few days before X-mas.. So figured it would be funny to roll it in the house after the wife went to bed...
