Title: OEM wrist pins compatible with weisco??
Post by: 1989kawasaki on November 03, 2011, 02:42:19 PM: ok so theres a piston kit on ebay for 50 bucks but it does not come with a wrist pin.
can an oem wrist pin work in the weisco?

But in the 500... I run the OEM pin... it is lighter weight than the wiseco (taper bored). The only differance is the OEM is longer, and one has to shave it down a few thou....

its the 89 KX250. but it would be the same for these models

Kawasaki KX250 (1987 - 1989)
Kawasaki KXF250 Tecate 4 (1987 - 1988)

could you show me where you can get the pin separatley? i cant find it anywhere

Yes, not only some of the Kawasaki's, but also other brands. (Did you look up the number for your CR250?) :wink:

Yes, not only some of the Kawasaki's, but also other brands. (Did you look up the number for your CR250?) :wink:

yup, the same wrist pin for the cr250 fits my kx 8-)
