So what's the scoop? Trying toget a list together of what needs doing for the gy welding things up. He lives quite a ways from me so I din't want to be making repaeted trips getting things sorted out.
The standard, right side KXF250f rad looks good, while the left looks too long. What solutions have you guys come up with?
Cheers

Thanks, read that. Helps with pipe layout, but no what to do regarding the left rad. It's on a 450 frame too.

you can look at my build, I found that a YZ 85 radiator works perfect no cutting or mods. the only thing is you will have to radiator caps

Yeah, is you have some pics that wold be great! I've jst been mockinh up stuff again, and there's no way I can see the standard left rad clearing the frame with either option. IE Using JFABS fram rails, or cutting and refitting the original cast aluminium frame section.
Obvisoly people get round the problem, just would like to know how. Don't want to end up with insufficient cooling.

On my SH they cut away about half of the lower tank and re-welded with a radiused piece so the coolant could get back to the unmodified portion of the tank.

Here's how SH did mine.

Thanks. Appreciate the photo. That's one of those "little" touches that sets the SH bikes apart.

YZ 85 Radiator cut the back mount off and bolt it on ....

On mine I used the 450f rads and just made some spacers out of Aluminium, they basically look like think washes. There just thick enough that they dont touch the frame. Just use some slightly longer bolts. Quick and easy solution.
