Title: subframe
Post by: concave3 on September 14, 2011, 03:48:27 PM
as some of you may know I effed up my 89 250 :|

I noticed where my subframe connects to the top of my frame the allen bolt wiggled out and the right upper arm of the subframe is so tweaked its jammed against the bottom of my gas tank... does anyone know if I could get that bolt at any hardware store?

or is it like every other d**n bolt on this bike were its specially made by kawi... or if anyone has the subframe bolts off of a parts bike or something I could buy... please let me know, I really need this bolt!!!

all of the bolts can be bought at good hardware stores, but you need to take the measurement's... they should all be metric sizes, you can get a thread measurement guide for a few quid. OR if you find a really good hardware store they should be able to measure the bolt and match it... this is what i done with my suspension bolts.... downside is once the found them i had to order a min of 10! Was still cheaper than 1 from kwak tho :-)
