Hi,
I'm running an 03 500 with a boyesen rad valve and I'm looking to swap out the stock pipe. I was thinking of getting an FMF Desert or Pro Circuit Platinum. Most of the riding that I do is in open sand pits or a large motocross track that doesn't have many tight turns.
Is it true that the Pro circuit Platinum pipe has a good overall powerband increase and the FMF Desert is only on the top end?
Thanks
Dan

they are both a mid top end pipe.you will sacrifice a little low end shove, for a good midrange and a top end with good over rev, as opposed to falling flat sooner.just make sure any reed, intake or tuning changes are designed to work best at same rpm so as to compliment each other.K.
