Just wondering what everybody is getting for mileage out of a stock tank. Not hours, mileage. This is aimed more for the guys with a odometer. I took my SF out on sunday for a tight woods ride and ran out of fuel at 25.78 miles according to my ICO Check Mate odo. Luckily I ran out at the edge of my yard! This was with a 04 KX250 2.2 gallon tank. My old 88 used to get around 40-50 miles.

I don't have ICO (but would like to get one) but my 02 kx250 has been doing 2-21/2 hour harescrambles with about quart to half gallon left after the race. thats about 30 to 35 miles.
I tend to not ride it much on the pipe, but not lugging it ether. I would think the faster/ reving you ride the less you get.

I was getting approx 45 miles of 60 mph logging roads to a stock tank on my 500
I was ranging about 25-30 miles of more mixed terrain including some slower woods riding. So it can vary....

I think I found part of the problem while riding yesterday. When leaned slightly, gas comes dribbling out of the carb vent tube. Ill adjust the float height and try it out this weekend.

Adjusted the float and sqeaked out 31 miles. I need to get a big tank!

Did 120 miles on the road on 3 gallons, 15/47 gears with O/D 5th. I have a Zip -Ty 3.8 gal tank and pipe combo. Did 40 mile in the woods, hard riding, last Friday on about 1.5 gal 14/50 gears. Sudco 41mm carb 170 main , 58 pilot, clip in the middle. Sea level.... Hope this helps.
