Hey does anyone know a good decent cheap silecner for my 500?

The stock one is pretty good and can often be picked up on ebay.  I run a pro circuit forestry approved spark arrestor model.  It did drop the power down a bit.

Zip Ty Racing sells a silencer for $87.95.  I have it on my bike.  It's a little louder than stock, but really opens the bike up all the way around.  www.ziptyracing.com

thanks man i found one, they look really nice..http://www.qualitysmart.com/products/zipty/zipty_info_order.htm 87 bucks, im selling my old one for 50.00 so ill get this, thanks alot though. If anyone else has a silencer this nice for cheaper let me know.

I want the best sound and best performance silencer i can get for 100.00 bucks. I really like that zipty silencer, how does it sound though? Heres a pic of my old silencer, anyone know what it is? it had an fmf sticker on it, but i couldnt find it anywhere. (http://www.freewebs.com/zamolx3/silencer.JPG)

Thats a stocker, someone stripped the paint off and polished it though.

well d**n, i didnt know that! or i would of bought a new one right away, so now if i get an aftermarket pipe, it will be even faster...cause it rips like hell with that silencer and my pro-circuit platnium pipe, what do you recommend paul?

Nope, the BEST - hands down - silencer you can put on the 500 is a freshly packed stocker.
