Title: 2005 KX250 clutch exact same part numbers as 2002 KX500
Post by: sniper1 on June 12, 2011, 07:38:41 AM
I was looking at the part numbers for the 05 KX250 clutch and all of the part numbers are identical to the 2002 KX500 is this true? I will post links to the parts and if this is true I can get the entire hinson clutch assembly instead of only getting a hinson basket.

I can get the pressure plate, hub, and basket

the full part number is 9 digits long, the first 5 shown on the diagrams determine what the part is. i.e all clutch baskets weather from a kx80 or kx 500 will have the same first 5 digits, its the last 4 that count. the kx 500 does share some clutch parts with 87 - 91 250

Ah thanks guys I was all excited about getting a complete hinson clutch from pressure plate to inner hub and basket it was going to be majestic but I'll go back to my unobtanium k5 depression with my booze and revolver with 1 round in the chamber but it's ok I'll be fine lol dang it.
