Title: Check out this clutch basket

I thought it was pretty cool. it's in my 250 that i wont even be using anymore.. Would like to see these for the 500 now

if your 250 is a 90 or 91 that will fit...

Ok, I know I am bringing this thread back from the dead, but I am curious.  Are you saying that the KX500 uses the same basket as a 90-91 KX 250?  :?

correct, aftermarket baskets for the 90-91 250 are far and few though. basket i posted was from a 92

Is the basket on the 500 the same as the 89 kx250?
I know that the 250 shares the same clutch hub , plates and the outer pressure plate .
So the basket should be the same?? But not the gears on the back
