If you are working on a 2003 kx250, can you check something for me?
I need to know if the timing marks on the stator and flywheel align when the piston is at tdc.. I know the timing advance is 14? BTDC at around 7500 rpm, but I don't know if the timing marks are supposed to align at tdc 14?, tdc or something else... Reason I am asking is I am thinking of using the 250 ignition on my 500. I still have to check the timing with a degree wheel and strobe light, but would be nice to know roughly were to start
Any input would be appreciated

The marks on the flywheel and the stator line up at 14 degrees not TDC.
