hey guys hows it goin i have a 87 kdx and the kick starter is siezed on the spline i think the person before me red locktite it any ideas how to get it off thanks

i used a hammer and a pry bar when i got my OLD kicker off for the first time

tryin but not moven at all any other ideas and if i cut it off what kikstarters will fit off other bikes thanks

why dont you tie a long rope to it then run as fast as you can then the kicker should come off  :-D

ha ha k never mind cut it off does any one know the torqe specs for the clutch springs the presure plate says kx 125 is it the same clutch for a 87 kdx as a kx 125 around the same year but yea torqe specs if any you guys got them for the kdx clutch springs thanks

its probably around 8ft pounds for my kx if i remember correctly.

but becareful with those bolts , they snap easily . on my rm i just tightened them evenly without a torque wrench

a new kicker for that bike is discontinued.. where did you cut it at?

saved it cut wasnt that bad goin to fill the cut in with weld

good, if you cut it beyond repair it would be tough luck finding a new or used one.
now if you cut the kick boss , then you wont be able to get those either but i know this person near me that has a large NOS kawasaki inventory that has the kick boss for that bike

no i was carefull hey i might pick up a fmf narly header pipe and a power core silencer for my kx 500 the guy wants 280 for both good price or no in pretty good shape

A little heat goes a long way to getting those off.
