He won't race until they turn off gravity :-D

Good, at least he can't take out other riders that way! :-D
-
He needs to be in jail, just proves money can buy your way out of criminal activity. I was amazed he never even apologized for what he did in Florida. Good ridance James, I dont want my kids to look up or even at you.

That guy has no heart. I think fear of losing is running within himself and he doesn't know how to dig deep and just get it done.
-
I really enjoyed watching him wad up about every other race and take a gurney ride. I will miss him!

I see we have alot of Bubba Haters & understand many of the reasons BUT he has more balls then the rest of the field combined. Heart? The only other person with as much as him in recent history was Ricky. Has he made bad decisions (off track too)? Positively! Once he realizes it does not matter who wins lap 1 thru 19 & ride at 80% until the last lap to get the important results..........Championships / Titles.
Keep in mind our current commentators "Bad Decisions". We ALL make them. :-P

I don't hate bubba I think he's one of the fastest guys on a bike I've ever seen but his style isn't very respectful and his attitude is bad for any athlete and like someone else said I don't want my kids looking up to anyone with that attitude.
A barry sanders is someone your kids can look up to or a dan marino but getting in trouble with the law and acting a fool just because you can is the worst and on the track bubba is dangerous with no respect for other riders.
Rubbing is racing but it's clear to anyone watching what he needs to mature but I do give him respect for being extremely talented and willing to sign autographs long after other riders have quit but that could be so he can act a fool too.

Yes, Bubba has made his fair share of mistakes on and off the track.
I don't know how I escaped that period of my life without an arrest record
The guy is fast, no doubt.
Every time I try to ride like him..... Well, lets just say I have the extra hardware to remind me how stupid that is...
Anyway, I'd rather ride like Carmichael but I say, cut Bubba some slack and hopefully he will mature and become a real force to be reckoned with.
As far as being a role model, Bubba leaves some to be desired, but even a bad example or two can be a lesson in the things you don't want to do in your own life.
The lessons you learn in your own life is all about your perspective :-o

Why is it important for him to be a role model? Really now.
Isn't that up to the parent to show right from wrong.
Maybe he's a good role model for what not to do.
I hate, that people that I race with in legend cars, expect me to be a good role model and teach THEIR kids the right thing to do. When I can that's good, but I also have bad day's too, and should be respected for that also. I have a temper and show, I'm it not proud of it. (not my best moments) But again learn what not to do.
My 2 cents

+1
I've never understood the sports celebrity role model concept.
I like racers to be a little wacky, it makes the rest of us seem normal.

love him or hate him.....some of you guys might feel differently if you were truly in his shoes....everybody has an opinion about it but very few have been even near that level of this sport....Im sure being a role model was not at the top of his list when he threw a leg over a race bike....good or bad the guy is amazing on the track. gotta give him that
