Title: Ultimate MX hauler
Post by: delphipro5 on May 05, 2011, 02:43:12 PM
I thought you guys might like to look at the hauler I got last year. It does work pretty good. Works for the 500 too. The only thing I do not like is the edge of the plate hits the rear susp. linkage. And steel is harder than aluminum, so if you are going a long way the vibration could cause it to cut into the linkage and wreck it up. Other than that it saves a ton of time, and $$, and paperwork replacing a trailer. And a lot of blood and sweat replacing trying to get the bike in and out of the truck bed. So I gotta say, if you are only hauling one bike it is nice. But it definitly does not truly replace a 3 bike trailer! Could give you an extra spot on the truck if you already have a few bikes in the bed too!

I got one of those, don't use it though.
I sell W/C enclosed trailers, so normally my bikes are in one.
Plus I ride mostly in the winter, when the roads a not so nice. A clean bike is nice too.
My buddy had a surburban he needed it.

Looks like a good set up. I may try that. Thanks for sharing.
