Hey everyone.
So I picked up a Kx500 a couple of weeks ago. I was told it was a '96, but on further inspection it appears to be a '92.
It doesn't bother me - it goes great, feels straight and it's a whole lot faster than my other bike!

So I've ordered a KX250 rear guard, a set of Pastrana fat bars + new mounts, plus a few minor things like new grips, throttle tube etc. I've got a short sandy MX track on my family property about an hour away, so I got an opportunity to take it out last weekend. It doesn't get much traction, but d**n it can move some sand! :-o
I'm looking forward to getting the bars on and having a good ride. Going riding tomorrow with a couple of mates, so we'll see how it stacks up against a couple of new CRF450s!
