Over the years I have really gotten into dual sport and at the same time I have always admired Harley's but never owned one. Now here's the best of both of those worlds. These are Harley's I wouldn't mind having.
I've been following 2 sportster dual sport conversions on Adventure Rider ( http://www.advrider.com/forums/index.php ),
I don't care who you are you might not like Harley or dual sport bikes but you have to admire the dedication these builders have for their bikes. Many pictures of old "scramblers" and other builders ideas of what a Harley dual sport should look like. If nothing else just flip through the pictures. One of them have a link to a guy the does a back flip on Sportster.

Sportsters are all around bitchen good bikes. On my '99 Sport I toured, drag raced, did Deals Gap, did a WV logging trail, set a few records at the ECTA (140+) and had a general 8 years of hootin' and hollerin' fun.
Check out Sportster.org or the XL Forum.

David, I'm glad you shared this picture and your opinion. I have not posted as of yet my other bike because some guys on the site have had bad experiences with Harley riders. Not all Harley riders are the way they see them. I ride Harley, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Maico, and anything else that has two, three, and four wheels and all put a smile on my face. Here's a picture of my Sportster. I love this bike and is a real blast to ride. Started out as a 883 and now is 1200. I have the dirt track pipes on her now. Harley has a unique feel and sound such as say a KX 500. Ride one and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Nice. Looks like a major "get in trouble" bike. I wouldn't be able to keep my license if I had that bike.
