I just updated my KX500 interchange page.
It's is not done but there has been many, many, hours put into it.
Some people complained that it was not alphabetical so I fixed that.
I did not originally plan on making it publicly available and simply added info in the order in which questions were asked.
I mainly was going to use it to help people ID their VIN or Engine ID but, one thing led to another...
Remember, there is so much info on this page that you will need to scroll to the right for about a mile to find the end

If you have additional info you would like to see added, I'm always up for sharing :-D

Very good job. I'm sure lots of guys will find that useful.

Thanks.
I will try to get all the interchange info done in the next few weeks.
Sometime in the future I will make hyperlinks for pics with measurements....

well done sandman.would you be able to make a special bit just for our use as, for example, there are bits that fit different years which aren't mentioned on there, as a 2004 clutch basket will fit an 86, or an 89 crank will fit an 87, dont know if moment of inertia(balance factor) is the same, but physically the crank will fit.same with cluch plates.I'm not trying to be a smart arse, but for owners of older models especially, this would be invaluable when a part is discontinued or like rocking horse sh!t to find.I would gladly submit everything I come across on my kwak related adventures....

No problem.
I would be happy to do that and make it all available.
If anyone has tried such things and know that they will work for a fact..... then I will add that information.
Any notes would be appreciated.
I know that there are some parts that will interchange such as the rear wheels which will fit from 86-04 even though they made 3 hub changes that I am aware of.
The biggest difference is the use of the 3 bearing design VS the 2 bearing design.
Let me know and I will add all updates that are confirmed.
