Title: 3.1gal IMS Tank Fuel Range for KX250

What is the fuel range for the IMS 3.1gal tank on a 2003 KX250?  I mainly ride forest service roads and double track at a moderate pace.  :?

I have run out of fuel on my 03 in 35 miles with a 3.1 gallon tank. That was on the gas in a mix of high speed, sandy and tight trail. This was during an enduro. Trail riding, I can get around 65 miles and have some left. Same with my 04 and my girlfriends 07 KX250.

Thanks alot.  Looks like I will get the same mileage too.  Today I did 40 miles, I noticed the level was way down.  I estimate I will get about 65 miles in a tank.  I am coming off my experience on a KDX where I would get close to 85-90 miles before switching to reserve and then get about 110.  I guess the KDX was just more economical.  The KX has significant more power than the KDX.
