Title: How to unhook throttle cable in carb???
Post by: Caddy 16v on March 02, 2011, 05:44:12 PM
Hi,

this might be a stupid question, but how do I unhook the throttle cable in the carburetor? I think they are all the same but it's a 89 KX250 carburetor, I've done it plenty of times in carbs with the round throttle body but I'm completely clueless on that one. :?

Thanks, Bjoern

I figured it out after looking at the microfiche!

It's easy you screw the top of the carb off, pull it all out then compress the spring on the throttle valve side so that the collar lifts up, then you can unhook the cable! Just look at a microfiche at bikebandit etc. and it should become clear
