I stumbled upon this 2 part Youtube vid of a '88 KX500SR GP bike all unrestored and original. man those SR bristle with trickery and one-off custom parts !

Ive not seen it before,don't have time to furtively search the net,thanks for sharing.The open toe sandal kick-start was frightening along with the footpeg width.

Anyone notice the sweet clutch cover is 2 piece like the 250s are? I need more tools so I can make crap like that.

I believe that pictured two piece KX500/ 250 clone clutch cover is a TRUE factory only unobtanium component. I'm sure all the compenents are ultra high quality magnesium as well. Handmade swingarm too !
