Title: new member awesome site!!!
Post by: DFL BIG BORE on January 31, 2011, 11:26:23 AM
i have just finished rebuilding my 92 kx500,had suspension done, completly went through motor, and cant seem to find the original style graphics.i have dropped almost $4,000 in last 8 months.just did the jackrabbits hare and hound d-37 last month bike ran awesome(40 mile loop).dfl in my class on a bike that is to old,to big,and way to FAST! anyone can ride a 250 or 450 4stroke,but it takes man to swing a leg over a twenty year old kx500,and thrash around the desert!!!(http://)

i also went with black frame, middle hole on rads needed re drilling hole was too small only 1\4 needs to be about 9\16 for rubber grommet\isolator to fit,had to shim top gas tank mount 1\4 to clear rads, trim left lower rad elbow so hose would line up with head.on the plus rads work great $300 for the pair on e bay

Interesting.
I bought a pair about a year or so ago and they had the same problem.
I gave them the details they needed to fix the problem.
I guess they didn't trust my dimensions  :-o
