Can anyone identify these forks for me? I took them off a USA Spec KX500 1989. I am however told these are not 1989 forks. My guess is some one took off the RSU 46mm KYB's and put these on. I now have a set of the 46's so need to sell these.

They look like blue leg forks that someone stripped all the blue off of...

I agree, they do look like the Blue style.

Hi Don.
You are correct for a 1990.
However, those numbers stamped on the bottom of the fork tubes indicates that it was very possibly a different year.
If he can verify the numbers and measurements I posted I'm fairly certain I can tell him what they are for sure.
The 1990 KX500, kx250, and kx125 forks all used a 41MM chrome tube diameter.
That will be the nail in the coffin :-)
My guess by the fork code is they are 91-93 and will be 43mm but, I have been wrong too many times to count

Guys,
These are deffo 41mm chrome legs, the surface on the uppers looks original, no sign of any blue, does this mean they are 1990?
-
I'd call them 1990 KX500, kx250, or kx125.
I'm fairly certain they only used the 41MM for one year.
But, I could be wrong :-o

At the very bottom of each leg, in very, very small print does it have "KX" and a year stamped on them? I mean small, maybe 2-3mm big in height at most. I can take a pic of mine if you need to see what I am referring to.... Of course if the legs have seen a few rocks the stamping I am speaking of is probably gone or mashed....
