Title: Boysen power reeds

just got a set of the boysen power reeds,the ones with the twin stage petals,but on looking at the intallation instructions,it doesn't show to install the reed stops,just the reeds. Any body know if this is correct?

I believe they want you to remove the stock reed stop and use the strip of metal they send with the kit.  At least that's what I did!  I just bought the same thing 2 weeks ago and asked the same question.  Although, I'm not sure if I ever got a direct answer from anyone.

Porkey, yes, Kawdude is correct, you remove the stock stoppers, the metal plates they provide are the stoppers you use. Make sure to use something like blue loctite.
