Title: Tank shroud bolt problem....

Hi.

I have a problem with my 99 kx250..

Both tank shroud top bolts are stuck. They are the ones that have the thread in the tank. It seems kawasaki have set a metal nut into plastics and at some time i have over tightened them and the nut now spins but i cant seem to just pull it out.

Has anyone else had this problem? I cant get the shrouds off until i can figure out a way to undo them..

get a small flat head screw driver under the bolt head and pry outwards while spinning the bolt with a socket
